Debby is a freelance Equestrian Consultant specialising in dressage training at all levels, working with horses and riders from unaffiliated Preliminary up to Advanced affiliated competitors. She competes and trains horses of all types (from Welsh Cobs to Thoroughbreds and Warmbloods, with the odd Highland and Morgan thrown in!) at every level up to and including Grand Prix. She has competed Internationally at Small Tour level on the Trakehner 'Holme Grove Merlin' whom she has trained from backing. She is based in West Sussex, and teaches in Sussex, Surrey, West Kent and East Hampshire, plus giving regular clinics in the Aberdeen and Inverness areas of North Scotland.

With over 18 years of training from Herr Arthur Kottas (former First Chief Rider of the Spanish Riding School) and from Charles de Kunffy (well known American clinician and author of many books), her knowledge is firmly rooted in the classical tradition. She has also worked for 10 years with Stephen Clarke, top International judge including at the Athens Olympics in 2004.

Debby is a List One British Dressage judge, a registered BD Trainer, a registered BHS instructor and an instructor at the Training the Teachers of Tomorrow Trust - a charitable foundation dedicated to developing the careers of young trainers.
